About the Artist
I am an independent artist, photographer, educator, and coastal scientist inspired by mountains, oceans, wildlife, and wildflowers. My connection to nature began in childhood, hiking forest trails, surfing cold waves, fishing quiet waters, and camping beneath open skies. During those early years, I was already photographing landscapes and painting what I saw, and that creative practice has stayed with me ever since. I am an eight-year breast cancer survivor and BRCA2 positive. That journey deepened my relationship with the natural world and strengthened my commitment to living- and creating- with intention.
I am a mother, a wife, dog-mom, an artist, and a scientist. My work reflects resilience, wonder, and a lifelong devotion to the wild places that continue to shape me.
